The beauty of this movement comes from its ability to be powered entirely by natural and artificial light, meaning you will never have to change the battery in this Junghans Max Bill watch. The state of the art movement also comes with a perpetual calendar function and the easy adjustment of time zones which can be done using the crown or through the Junghan’s MEGA smartphone app. Thanks to the 38mm case engineered from lightweight titanium and the contemporary grey calfskin leather strap with Alcantara lining and titanium buckle, the Junghans Max Bill MEGA Solar watch sits effortlessly and comfortably on the wrist. The radio-controlled solar movement J101.85 is kept hidden behind a screw down case back and is powered by light exposed on the matte light grey dial. The dial is decorated with luminous hands and indices and protected by convex hard plexiglass coated for enhanced scratch resistance. The Junghans Max Bill MEGA Solar watch also provides central hands for hours, minutes and seconds, a date window at 3 o clock and promises a water resistant rating of 30 metres.
