This 18 carat white gold mechanical automatic timepiece from the well established Grand Seiko Hi Beat 36000 collection (part of Mechanical Caliber 9S series) encompasses aspects of the brands award winning design creativity, paired with refined contemporary engineering. The Grand Seiko Hi Beat Special, although not part of a limited edition phase, will only have 200 pieces made. The new model has an impressive accuracy reading of just minus 2 to plus 4 seconds per day... Adding leverage to the rarity of this Grand Seiko creation, an 18K white gold medallion has been added to Grand Seikos movement, adding a priceless advantage for any appreciative owner. The 9S85 movement offers a 55 hour power reserve and is protected by a scratch resistant and anti reflective sapphire crystal glass. A Micro Electrical Mechanical System (MEMS) is used to manufacture the pallet fork and escapement gear of the watch, another nod to the brand's choice in executing their timepieces with the highest quality standards. A beautiful combination of Zaratsu polishing and brushed finishes decorate the body of the Hi beat Special which has been hand assembled and hand finished at the Shizukuishi Watch Studio in Japan, enveloping a stunning white dial with a metallic sheen and sunburst pattern finish. A subtle date window is located at the 3 o clock hour mark whilst the delicate contours of the integrated lugs pay compliment to the silver hour, minute and sweeping hands together with 11 baton style hour indices.
