The legend of the Bell & Ross Skull watch returns, this time fully dressed in matte black ceramic with a unique faceted skeleton head at its centre. Like many of its predecessors, the Bell & Ross BR 01 Cyber Skull Limited Edition showcases another remarkable automaton movement which allows the mouth of the skull to move up and down when the watch is wound by the crown, giving the skull dial the sinister illusion of laughter. The automaton BR-CAL.206 hand-wound mechanical movement has been perfectly shaped into the image of a skull to hide behind its centre piece dial while four matching matte black bones anchor the bridges to the main plate and complete the ominous aesthetic.. Arguably terrifying yet undeniably cool, the Bell & Ross BR 01 Cyber Skull Limited Edition watch continues to impress with a matte black ceramic case measuring to 45mm by 45.6mm. It’s faceted finish its unique to any other Bell & Ross watch before it, delivering a masculine and rebellious finish perfectly complimenting of the matching matte black faceted skull. The case delivers a water resistant rating of 50 metres and is equipped with scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating and an all-black rubber strap. You’d be forgiven for thinking that the stealthy aesthetic of the Bell & Ross BR 01 Cyber Skull would make it difficult to read in low lighting, but thanks to Superluminova coated hands for hours and minutes, legibility is not a problem.
