Description
Ball Watch Company Trainmaster Kelvin. NT3888D-LL1J-GYC. Inspired by physicist and engineer Lord Kelvin, the man known for developing the Absolute Thermodynamic Temperature Scale or now recognised as the Kelvin scale, Ball Watches have designed the Ball Trainmaster Kelvin watch. Like Lord Kelvin in the scientific field, Webb C. Ball can also lay claim to a similar pioneering role in the history of watchmaking, as he introduced the first chronometry standards used by the American railroad companies, now known in the watch industry as the COSC standard.. Within the Ball Trainmaster Kelvin watch is the automatic calibre BALL RR1601-C movement which includes the TMT mechanical thermometer module. This means the wearer can measure the outside temperature by Celsius on their wrist from the half moon shaped window at 6 o clock.  Beneath the scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass with antireflective treatment is a dark grey dial set with 14 luminescent micro gas tubes that allows perfect readability in the dark without requiring any recharge for up to 25 years. The timepiece also boasts a shock resistance to 5,000Gs, water resistance of 30 metres and an open case back where you can watch the automatic movement hard at work. The Ball Trainmaster Kelvin is completed by dark brown crocodile leather strap and stainless steel buckle.
