Archive Ball Watch Company Pulsemeter D
Description
The original Ball Pulsemeter timepiece was designed for the needs of doctors. The Trainmaster Pulsemeter COSC watch builds upon that first idea. It is equipped with Valjoux 7750 automatic calibre that is certified by Contrôle Officiel Suisse de Chronométres (COSC) – the official Swiss institute that tests chronometers. The movement performs 28 800 vibrations per hour and has 25 bearing jewels. Hands and indices are illuminated through the use of 18 self-powered micro gas tubes that glow 100 times brighter than luminous paint. The watch is protected from shock, magnetic influences and water penetration. Chronographic measurements reach up to 12 hours. The pulsemeter is graduated for 15 pulsations and a tachymeter is available for the convenience of the wearer. Additional functionalities include subsidiary seconds, day and date display at 3 o'clock, see-through case back and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
