Ball Watch Company Engineer II Genesis NM2028C-LBR7-BE  In 1891, Webster C. Ball became recognised around the world for setting the official railroad standard of timekeeping which greatly influenced the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute, or COSC, that sets the standard for current mechanical watch accuracy. To celebrate their 125th anniversary, Ball watches have released the Ball Engineer II Genesis watch, a practical and sophisticated timepiece that reflects the extensive and experienced heritage of the brand.  The Ball Engineer II Genesis watch boasts an impressive 43mm stainless steel case that embraces the automatic calibre BALL RR1102 movement that promises a shock resistance of 5,000Gs and a water resistance of 100 metres. Housed beneath the scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass is a striking blue dial set with a total of 28 micro gas tubes on the hour, minute and second hands as well as the 6, 9 and 12 markers. These markers are made of 1mm thick green micro gas tubes that will glow in the dark for up to 25 years without requiring any recharge. When you turn the watch over, the case back is decorated with an engraving of a train to celebrate the monumental legacy and anniversary of the brand. To complete the timepiece, a brown calf leather strap and stainless steel buckle is added for effortless wear and comfort.
