Description
Elegant necklace combining freshwater pearls, blue onyx and amazonite with silverplated caps and fittings, inspired by the beaded headdress of a lady depicted in the Hours of René of Anjou, illuminated in Paris during the 15th century. The most vivid and costly mineral used in the production of such works was Lapis Lazuli, a gemstone that could only be sourced from the Middle East in the Middle Ages reflected in the inky blue beads of our Anjou Necklace.
