Its rich, red stigma, hidden inside, three per flower, are carefully harvested by hand and sun-dried to concentrate their precious aroma. It is the intensity of this luxurious note that is enhanced by an Indonesian oud to create Safran Rare, a very rare saffron perfume. Top notes of freesia, olibanum and rose geranium give way to a heart of cedarwood, saffron, Centifolia rose and Jasmin de Grasse before a warm, sensuous dry-down of benzoin, Indonesian oud, vetiver, sandalwood and vanilla rounds out this extraordinary fragrance.
