It was a trip to Papua New Guinea in 2015 that inspired textile designer Caroline Sherman to start Among Equals. The non profit label honours ancient rituals and skilful craftsmanship with its Papuan Bilum bags, showcasing heritage, art and fashion with every vibrant stitch. Each one is handcrafted by an artisan weaver, each with a unique story to tell about the weaver's life.
