The Vanish Tempo defines speed in its own way, whilst still having the same geometry, midsole foam and slim footshape as the Vanish Carbon.
Engineered Mesh Upper
Wrapping your feet is a lightweight engineered mesh, this soft material reduces any rubbing or discomfort keeping your mind on the run ahead of you. Not only is the upper stylish and contemporary, but it aids in preventing uncomfortable heat build-up, with the ability to quickly disperse heat through the perforations in the fabrics. The shoes also have a FootShape Toe Box which allows feet and toes to relax and sit more naturally, providing you with the power and stability you need for fast, long-distance running. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system which helps to lock down the midfoot to prevent excessive movement.
Altra Ego Pro MidsoleThe midsole of the Altra Vanish Tempo is a responsive and high-performing technology, providing feet with supreme cushioning and rebound, the same as the Altra Vanish Carbon. Altra Ego Pro is used through the construction and is Altra's lightest midsole foam design yet. This allows you to go the distance whilst also providing cushioning in every step, mile after mile. To ensure feet remain stable, secure and comfortable, the shoes utilise a Balanced Cushioning platform, which positions your heel and forefoot at an equal distance from the ground, ensuring a low-impact landing. The Vanish Tempo have a rocker shape geometry that has been designed to give the feeling of forward propulsion with every step. This, therefore, ensures you have an efficient toe-off, without it taking anything away from your natural stride. The shoes feature a zero-drop platform which means that the feet have a more natural alignment with the ground.
EVA Rubber OutsoleProviding feet with additional comfort, and flexibility underfoot, the shoes have an EVA rubber outsole. The outsole will provide you with additional grip on roads, as well as, ensure they are durable to keep you going for miles.
