Trimmed with tonal grosgrain piping and embroidered with a script "RL" monogram on the vamp, this iteration is made with leopard-print haircalf, which undergoes a multistep artisanal process to achieve its authentic pattern. First, the shoe's haircalf fabrication is shaved, resulting in hairs that mimic genuine leopard fur. Next, the haircalf is dyed to create the background colour, then finally printed with the leopard motif, which is done in various techniques to give the hair a realistic appearance.
