Description
Capsule floor lamp - clear and yet closed Capsule is a game with the unknown, which comes along with the externally unrecognizable contents of a medical capsule. The designer of the floor lamp, Christian Cubiñá, combines clear basic shapes with a mysterious-looking, completely enclosed light source. The outstanding feature is the upper part of the shade made of blown, sandblasted glass. The matt white material does not allow the observer to see the lamp inside and creates a strong light refraction, making the glass appear as a luminous body. The lower third of the shade, which is completely opaque, is set off from this, as are the rod-shaped stand and the circular base made of metal.
