The Water Metal Handle Bucket Bag is a new take on a classic design. The distinctive pleated detailing was inspired by ocean waves. The matte gold handles are in the shape of a circle to reference geometry, a major theme in Alkeme Atelier's designs. The bucket bag can be hand-carried by the round handles, or worn on the shoulder with the detachable long strap. This bag also includes the option to reveal the drawstring closure, or keep it tucked in and hidden for a more minimal appeal. Inside the bag there are two pockets and an interior lining made from recycled plastic bottles. The Water Metal Handle Bucket Bag is made from Alkeme's signature vegan leather, which is scratch-resistant, lightweight and longer lasting than animal leather. MATERIAL: Developed by advanced research, Alkeme Atelier's signature vegan leather is responsibly engineered to outperform standard animal leather. While it has a similar appearance to leather, it's cleanable, longer lasting and almost one-third the weight of its animal counterpart. Vegan leather is scratch-resistant, high in strength and water-repellent, making it an immensely durable material. LINING: The handbag's interior lining is made from a polyester created out of recycled plastic bottles and produced in a factory that has Global Recycled Standard certification. Each lining uses about ten plastic bottles, preventing them from becoming ocean pollution or planet waste. By buying this bag you are taking a small step to help keep our oceans and planet clean. DUST BAG: Every handbag comes with a dust bag made from 100% natural and biodegradable bamboo fiber. The antibacterial and odor-free properties of this textile make it the perfect protective layer for your handbag. However, you can also choose to use the dust bag as a shopping bag or reusable tote as each bag has sturdy straps attached to wear over your shoulder. The material is also produced in a factory that has Global Recycled Standard certification.
