Description
Manufactured exclusively for Archers, the Tranquillity 9000 combines body-responsive pocket springs, deep layers of natural fillings and a soft and luxurious pillowtop. Featuring a traditional hand tufted finish, the mattress is fully upholstered in a premium Belgian woven fabric made from the softest 100 natural viscose fibres. With 8kg per square metre of natural wool, cotton, cashmere and silk, the Tranquillity mattress boasts 4 times the quantity of fillings found in most mattresses. Its luxurious pillowtop is made up of 2 layers of 2000 mini tablet springs and is separate to the main body of the mattress, allowing it to be rotated with ease. Below the pillow top is a unique set up with 1000 inner pocket springs and 2000 mini tablet springs on either side. This part of the mattress does not need to be rotated. Housed in their own cloth sleeve and totally independent of any surrounding coils, the pocket springs offers piston-like support to each part of the body. A flat rod-edge metal frame is fitted to the perimeter to ensure the integrity of the nested pocket springs and allows you the full use of the mattress width. The mattress features 2 rows of side-stitching; a labour intensive and intricate technique thats reserved for top-end mattresses and performed by experienced craftsmen. Using a long upholstery needle and high-tension twine, the perimeter pocket springs are attached to the mattress border to provide complete edge to edge support. This strengthens the mattress edge and prevents it from bowing out over time. It also increases the sleeping area by 20 for a comfortable nights sleep.
