Designed exclusively for Archers, the Tranquillity is a cut above the rest with an innovative blend of pocket springs, mini tablet springs and natural fillings. Although the 4800 is the starter mattress in the range, it still boasts as many as 14 times the number of springs found in a standard open coil mattress. Upholstered in a 100 viscose fabric, the mattress features a traditional hand tufted finish, designed to ensure the fillings are held securely in place. With 8kg per square metre of natural wool, cotton, cashmere and silk 4 times the normal amount, you can be assured of a luxurious sleeping surface.. Supplied by Agro, Europes biggest supplier of springs, the interior has a unique set up with 1000 inner springs and 1900 mini tablet springs on either side.. Housed in their own cloth sleeve, each spring is free from any surrounding springs, allowing them to provide piston-like support to each part of the body. To ensure the integrity of the nested springs, a metal rod-edge wire surrounds the perimeter of the finished unit and strengthens the mattress edge. Using a long upholstery needle and high tension twine, a labour intensive and intricate technique of side-stitching is carried out by experienced craftsmen.
