Hand made by master craftsmen, the Tranquillity 11800 is exclusive to Archers and boasts a blend of pocket and mini tablet springs and natural fillings. Substantially filled at 37cm deep, this luxurious mattress is upholstered in a premium Belgian viscose fabric and features a hand tufted finish. Natural wool, cotton, silk and cashmere offer enhanced comfort and with 8kg per square metre, youre getting a mattress thats a cut above the rest. Sandwiched between these deep layers is its pocket spring interior, supplied by Agro, Europes biggest manufacturer of mattress spring systems. The unique interior is made up of an inner core of 1000 pocket spring, with 5400 mini tablet spring on both side for added comfort and support. Housed in cloth sleeves, the springs are free of any neighbouring coils and only compress where pressure is applied for body-contouring support. Reserved for top-end mattresses, its side-stitching is performed by highly-trained staff. Its a labour intensive and intricate technique to master. This process is applied using a long upholstery needle and high tension twine thats used to sew the border to the turns in the perimeter springs.
