Thanks to its combination of Windtex membrane and Laminated 3L Sphere DWR, this jacket gives you a high degree of rain protection, complete protection from cold winds while also offering excellent flexibility and comfort. With it's DWR (Durable Water-Repellent) finish it also shrugs of road spray and dirt, preventing them from seeping in. Once you're up to speed, excellent breathability prevents you from getting drenched in sweat. The fit of the jacket is what Ale call 'Performance'. This isn't as tight fitting as their race-focused garments but it's by no means loose either. It provides the ideal balance of comfort, flexibility and streamlining. A silicone waist gripper keeps the jersey snugly in place and reflective details keep you visible when cycling in low light.
