PR-S is the Ale line that has had pro-rider input and here the PR-S Master Bib Shorts are very much focused on providing you with a short which offers impressive flexibility for fluid pedalling while also compressing muscles to enhance resistance to fatigue when racing. High-quality lightweight fabrics are body-mapped to apply the ideal amount of pressure across the legs while the Leg Comfort System sees an ultra-thin gripper with silicone threads interwoven through the gripper, providing just the right amount of grip and compression. The dye-cut finish provides a smooth transition from short to the skin for the ultimate in comfort. The 'Free System Bib' upper focuses in on lightness, breathability and stretch, supporting the shorts without applying too much pressure. A raw cut edge and a layer of elastane inside gives the bib straps a soft touch on the skin and ensures you'll soon forget the bibs are there. Four-needle flatlock stitching throughout completes the shorts in smooth style and eliminates chafing. At the heart of the shorts is Ale's highly regarded Double Ergo HF chamois. This seat insert has a Bi-component surface in the front and lateral parts in the groin. The high-density 120 kg foam covers the contact point on the saddle (perinea and ischiatic) but it's reduced in the remaining parts to guarantee the minimum bulk and to ensure breathability is optimised. Lateral shaped wings follow the body, adapting to body movement to give a chafe-free pedal stroke, in or out of the saddle.
