Alchemy Gothic's Regiis Martyris Earrings are a pair of stunning baroque style earrings. The gothic earrings feature faceted amethyst crystals on the studs and suspended larger smoked diamond coloured Swarovski teardrop crystals.The earrings of Lady Jane Grey and a part of the jewellery intended as a 'coronation' gift from her principle supporter the Duke of Northumberland. However, usurped by Bloody Mary, the 17 year old Jane was incarcerated in The Tower and instead, executed for high treason in 1554. The jewellery, (of which this is a copy), was then buried on the estate of her childhood home, Bradgate.
