Description
Now more than ever, women have the power to change the narrative within sport. Female athletes across all different events continue to champion social change, reform and justice, setting a blueprint for the next generation to follow. Standing tall on their platform, the incredible women who represent Jordan Brand serve as an inspiration to young girls on any court or pitch. Celebrating the power of women within and beyond sport, the Air Jordan XXXV "Sisterhood" symbolises the community of female athletes pushing the game forward. The sculpted Eclipse plate 2.0 helps provide side-to-side stability and support. It's hollowed out to reduce the shoe's overall weight while letting you see through the shoe. Zoom Air cushioning under the heel and forefoot has a springy, responsive feel. The thick, large-volume heel unit provides impact cushioning, while the large forefoot unit helps provide support. Flightwire cables stitched into the sides radiate up from the curved plate, helping to lock you down over the footbed when you lace up. The rubber outsole uses a modified herringbone tread pattern that grips the court. It's designed to help you stop, start and change directions on the fly. Subtle design details nod to the Air Jordan 5, including the bump-out collar, the shape of the tongue, and the rubberised print inspired by the 5's grid mesh. The design balances new innovations with OG details that nod to the history and heritage of the brand.
