A simple Greek key patterned border is the key element of this rug, the continuous line which mimics the ancient Maeander River of Asia Minor with its many twist and turns adds a grandeur to this simple rug. The impactful dark tones form a strie pattern making the rug practical as well as beautiful. Woven on a traditional Axminster loom using a wool blend of 80% British wool and 20% nylon guarantees the highest of quality standards. Sustainable British wool ensures comfort and warmth whilst the small nylon percentage increases wear ability making this rug ideal for heavy traffic areas.
