Description
Advantage 400 Spot On Solution can be used for both the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (as well as biting lice with the exclusion of cats) on dogs weighing between 25kg and 40kg. This Bayer VPS medicine can also be used on puppies aged 8 weeks and older, and for lactating females. Treatment of nursing females controls flea infestations on both mother and offspring. Please prevent your pet from grooming itself until the product has dried onto the skin. One treatment of Advantage 400 Spot On Solution will prevent further flea infestation for up to three to four weeks on dogs. The fleas are killed within one day following treatment and to prevent further flea infestations, repeat the treatment of Advantage 400 spot on monthly. It is also recommended that all pets in the household are treated for fleas at the same time. The fleas that you see on your pet are only a small portion of the infestation, 95% of the flea's life cycle occurs in your pet's environment. In order to stop an existing flea problem you must deal with the flea larvae in your home, carpets, floorings, upholstery and bedding. Re-infestation from flea larvae in the environment may continue to occur for six weeks or longer after the initial treatment. More than one treatment may therefore be required, depending on the level of fleas in the environment. If you have any queries regarding the administration of these products, use our pet care expert live service.Based on the information submitted, our Suitably Qualified Person may, on occasion, be required to call you to obtain additional information prior to us being able to supply this product.Always reference the product box for instructions and directions on how to use this product.Use Medicines Responsibly, Advantage contains imidacloprid.
