Jacques Adnet, French designer and decorator from the 20th century, is fully grounded in the Art Deco movement that began in Paris in the 1920s. Known for his avant-garde design, Adnet was one of the first to incorporate metal and glass into furniture. His style is the pinnacle of luxury. In 1950, he entered into a partnership with Hermès, with which he developed a collection of furniture and accessories covered with leather. This collection includes this superb mirror, one of the key pieces of Jacques Adnet's work. This round mirror is encircled by high-quality Italian leather straps, connected together by brass hinges like a belt. The strap is used to hang the mirror. An exceptional object!
