In a small Bavarian washroom in 1924, Adolf adi Dassler founded what became one of the world's most recognisable and admired sportswear brands: adidas. Today, the brand is known for its commitment to high-quality craftsmanship, a rich design archive, and innovative designs that reference the past while looking to the future. The Mexicana Trainers- part of the label's acclaimed Originals line- are the perfect example of this winning ethos, adroitly constructed in suede and leather uppers atop classic rubber soles. Originally released in 1968, this contemporary reimagining celebrates one of Mexico's oldest traditions: Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Cut in a low-top style, this striking pair features almond toes, lace fastenings, textile linings for comfort, flat soles, and discreet tone-on-tone stitching.
