The Pharrell x adidas NMD R1 “Black Future” is a special collaboration between the talented music producer and adidas from its “Black Future” collection. A December 2020 release, the NMD R1 “Black Future” is one of several black monochromatic colorways imagined by Pharrell following his Time Magazine “We Deserve a Black Future” essay. The sock-like Primeknit upper and leather Three Stripes detailing on either side are finished off in black. A black heel counter and eyelet overlays progress the stealthy appearance. Finishing details include black speckled rope laces, embossed adidas detailing on the heel, and a black painted Boost midsole. Release date: December 13, 2020.
