Engineered Mesh Upper
Constructed using an engineered mesh upper, the Adistar CS 2 Running Shoes wrap each foot in breathable comfort. The mesh has been designed to be as lightweight and as breathable as possible for all-temperature comfort. The mesh acts as a second skin, providing a supportive and comfortable fit. Its perforated construction allows air to flow through the entire upper, letting your feet breathe when the temperature starts to rise or your training session heats up. By allowing hot, humid air to escape, the Adistar ensures complete comfort at all times. A textile lining has also been used on the upper to increase comfort, the lining sits comfortably against the skin and reduces the risks of chafing and irritation from ruining your run. A heel counter works to lock in the heel for a comfortable and secure fit whilst the lacing system secures the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides. Lastly, the upper has been constructed using Primeblue high-performance recycled materials.
Repetitor and Repetitor+ MidsoleA Repetitor midsole provides cushioning and comfort. Upon impact, this midsole works to cushion the foot, reducing stress and strain. This reduces the risk of injury, giving you the confidence you can tackle whatever your run throws at you. The midsole also provides springy rebounds, utilising the power generated during footstrike to power you into your next one. This reduces energy loss and gives your run that added boost for that unstoppable feeling. It also reduces fatigue, so you can push yourself further and keep going for longer. Repetitor+ also features in the midsole which is a firmer, second-density recycled EVA midsole which cradles the heel and helps support/stabilise the heel strike to help guide the foot through transition. An internal support cage integrated into the eye-stay and Strobel board wraps the mid-foot as the laces get tighter, providing lockdown and arch support. Finishing the midsole is the rocker geometry, specifically designed to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair to encourage a guided gait cycle.
Continental Rubber OutsoleDeveloped using a Continental rubber outsole, the Adistar Running Shoes ensure extraordinary traction in wet and dry conditions. Inspired by tyre technology, Continental rubber supplies traction on wet and dry surfaces, giving you no excuse not to run. The outsole is designed to be just as durable as the midsole, leaving you with a resilient, cushioned and grippy running shoe. StretchWeb completes the Adistar CS 2 by ensuring a flexible and energized ride. The web pattern has a large surface area that flexes naturally for increased ground feel and traction on varied terrain. The StretchWeb outsole lowers the amount of pressure that is generated during the footstrike and in turn, lessens the impact on your feet to minimize injury and provide increased performance.
