Highly competitive and seriously thrilling, karting is all about low-slung, white-knuckle excitement; Karting tests your driving skill and endurance to the utmost, so its no surprise that this is the training ground for todays top Formula One drivers. Weve selected some of the countrys most demanding circuits so you can be sure of a fun-packed, exciting time. On arriving at the centre your instructor will begin by giving you a safety briefing, instructions on your kart controls and youll be provided with protective clothing. To familiarise yourself with the karts and the circuit there will be a few initial practice laps. The typical programme then consists of heats, semi-finals and a heart thumping final. At some locations you will receive 2 sets of 15 minutes competitive racing. If youre the fastest round the track, youll be awarded a prize trophy. Please note: At the Warrington site you will complete your experience on the standard track. This experience is available on selected dates, all year. The total experience will last approximately 1; to 4 hours depending on the location. This is for a voucher entitling the holder to any of the activities supplied by Activity Superstore up to the value stated. This is a physical activity, you must be able to operate the steering, brake and accelerator fully and safely. Not suitable if you have a heart complaint etc. The height and weight restrictions vary per venue, please check with the individual supplier. There will be up to a maximum of 100 people at the centre at any one time. Youre welcome to bring along family and friends to watch you do this activity.
