This has a shock-absorbing helmet material permanently bonded to a tough outer shell. The inner EPS foam soaks up and dissipates impact forces while the outer adds structural strength and fends off minor bumps, from overhanging branches for instance. You also have a height-adjustable visor to add protection to your face. In its uppermost adjustment, it also makes space for pulling up and stowing goggles, ideal for moments when you're taking stock, catching your breath, and readying yourself for the next drop-in. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System)The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head.Safe and SecureExcellent safety is also matched with excellent comfort.
