The floor is made from 11mm solid sheet, able to withstand constant footfall and the rigours of playtime.The entrance door provides comfortable access to the playhouse, while the 2 small windows allow plenty of natural light, as well as completing the playhouse’s pretty appearance. The glazing is made from styrene, which is virtually shatter proof and far safer than glass.This kids’ playhouse complies with BS EN 71-1:2014 safety standards. It comes with a lovely smooth-planed finish and is FSC®-certified, so the wood is only sourced from sustainable, well-managed forests.The Shire Wigwam playhouse is supplied dip treated with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee, when supported with annual retreatment. An upgrade to a top coat is available for this playhouse. This top coat is a wood stain that provides a waterproof coating to resist algal and fungal attack. It nourishes the wood to provide year-round colour and protection. Two coats are applied, by the manufacturer, to both the interior and exterior of the playhouse. As a dip-treated garden building, it is usually recommended that the customer apply a treatment upon assembly; this top coat eliminates the need to do so.
