The 2022 Whyte 629 V4 Hardtail Mountain Bike in Matt Zinc Mouse is a 29er hardtail designed for bigger mileages and higher speeds while still maintaining the advantage of Whyte’s award winning Trail Geometry, and a thru-axle Boost frame, to let you take that extra speed and efficiency onto the toughest, most technical trails.Whyte are known for their aluminium frames and UK inspired geometry. With the 629 you get a 6061 Alloy, Hydro Formed T6 Aluminium, Multi Butted frame with Whyte’s Trail Geometry keeps the bike stable at high speeds while also allowing you to navigate really steep and technical terrain. The 120mm fork is longer than you find on most 29er hardtails.Whyte have improved the specification on the new V4 529 for 2022. Upgrades include a dropper post, SRAM’s 12 speed NX Eagle drivetrain with a huge 11-50t cassette and an updated frame with a new workshop-friendly BBX shell with increased axle clearance for easier maintenance.
