Description
The Specialized 2021 Diverge Pro Carbon comes with a FACT 9r carbon frame, the Diverge frame is versatile, capable and race bike light perfect for speeding up the climbs. The huge range of gears, flawless shifts in any terrain, and a simple, wireless 1x set-up is provided by SRAM’s Force AXS eTap group and SRAM’s Orbit fluid clutch. Roval’s ultralight and super tough Terra CLX wheels with Kanza winning Pathfinder Pro 38mm tires deliver the most versatile and capable combination for mixed surface and challenging terrain, while a Roval Terra seat post ensures the Diverge Pro is perfectly balanced for the ultimate ride Escape the rat race and spend some quality time kicking up dust. The Diverge represents 40 years of Specialized experience with both road, and gravel bikes the result the fastest, most capable and fun Gravel bike Specialized have ever made. The 40 years experience can be seen in elements such as The Future Shock 2.0, all-new gravel geometry, internal storage and category-leading tyre clearance. The focus has been on giving you a quick but confidence-inspiring Gravel bike able to tackle challenging terrain. So go ahead and start dreaming up your biggest ride, your ultimate getaway or racing glory the Diverge will be your new best friend, your cycling partner in crime. Future Shock 2.0 is the ultimate technology and the gravel riders best friend when it comes to comfort. With 20mm of axial compliance and a hydraulic damper, Future Shock 2.0 suspends the rider, not the bike. This keeps you confident and in control, able to keep the power down and stay off the brakes over rough dirt roads and in thick loose gravel, all while keeping your hands, arms and neck fresh. Since Future Shock 2.0 damper is adjustable, you'll be ready for the rough stuff and efficient on smooth pavement. When it comes to Geometry, the Diverge breaks the rules gloating some of the most progressive geometry Specialized have created for a drop-bar bike to create a capable and stable bike in the dirt, that still feels responsive and nimble on the road. The frame's reach is increased, introduced a slacker head tube and a longer offset fork. All this creates incredible confidence with a planted feeling in the dirt; shorter stems keep the overall cockpit length the same and the steering lively. All this and the Bottom Bracket is low to increase stability, but high enough to accommodate 650b wheels. Tyre clearance dictates a lot, so the Diverge has a huge 47mm of tire clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1” with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive-side chainstay utilizing a solid beam of carbon behind the chainrings Specialized created clearance without using a fragile dropped chainstay design or increasing chainstay length. All of the above gives you an extremely capable bike which means bigger rides. The Diverge borrows the SWAT internal storage from the Stumpy. The SWAT door lets you use the down tube to store tools a flat kit, nutrition and even Specialized's SWAT Jacket. If big adventure is your thing the Diverge has got your back with plenty of rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can take what you need, no matter how far you plan to go, or how long you plan to stay out This bike perfect foradventures long and short, the Diverge is geared up for comfort, handling and speed perfect for getting away from it all.
