The 2020 Specialized Chisel Comp Hardtail Mountain Bike in Gloss Dove Grey is designed to give you everything you need to reach the top of the podium at a price that doesn’t break the bank. It is built around an ultralight aluminium frameset that’s stiff in all the right places, yet surprisingly compliant. So you get speed and great power transfer on a bike you can ride for hours. The Specialized M5 Aluminium frame uses D'Aluisio Smartweld Technology which allows the most consistent, high-strength welds possible while taking full advantage of compliant, ultralight alloy tubes. Although mainly designed for XC racing the Chisel works for anyone who likes going fast. As cross-country courses have grown more technical Specialized have given the Chisel a dose of trail bike DNA. The Chisel’s longer top tube, shortened head tube, and slightly slack front end increase its downhill stability without sacrificing its climbing ability. To complete the Chisel Comp Specialized have added a Rockshox Judy Gold Solo air fork with size specific travel and a SRAM SX 12 speed drive train with an 11-50T Eagle rear cassette so you can get up the steepest climbs.
