The 2020 Dawes Windermere Low Step is an upgraded version of their entry level Sahara city bike. It comes with 18 gears instead of 6 so is a better choice for people living in hilly areas, or who fancy an easier ride. The Low Step frame is traditionally seen as a ‘ladies bike’ but they are also really popular with anyone who has limited mobility and struggles getting on and off a bike. The Windermere uses Dawes Urban geometry to give you a bike perfectly suited to getting around town. The hi-tensile steel frame isn’t super light but it is built to withstand the knocks of regular use. The quill style stem allows for quick and easy height adjustment, whilst the full length mudguards and chainguard ensure you arrive to your destination without being covered in mucky water. And to finish the bike off the bike comes with a rear carrier of carrying up to 25kgs so you can haul plenty of gear around. This bike is great for Getting around town and carrying plenty of gear.
