The 2020 Cannondale Tesoro Neo X 2 in Graphite is a fully loaded trekking machine. Get out of the rat-race and into the wilderness with this on-road/off-road capable electric bike. The Tesoro Neo X 2 is the middle bike in the Tesoro range and comes with a powerful Bosch Performance Line CX motor normally found on mountain bikes. The Tesoro design focuses on speed, efficiency and comfort. Excellent handling comes via the Ai offset drivetrain, which opens up the rear triangle for more tyre clearance while keeping the chainstay short for an agile movement and a stronger stiffer rear wheel. The Tesoro NEO X lives to be pointed off-road. For bikepacking, backroad trekking or rugged transport, its MTB-inspired frame and fork and big 29” wheels let you get in deeper and go further. With rattle-free mudguards, a full rear rack, bright front and rear lights, and even a kickstand you’re ready to tackle any adventure. All the features that make Tesoro NEO X so capable off-road translate into a supremely comfortable, confident experience on-road. The powerful Bosch Performance Line CX motor fitted to the Tesoro Neo X 2 gives it plenty of torque to tackle hills and to get you over rougher terrain. This is the motor normally found in high-end electric mountain bikes. 10 speed Shimano gears, hydraulic brakes and rugged suspension fork make Tesoro Neo X 2 able to handle all kinds of terrain. The SmartForm C1 frame used on the Tesoro Neo X 2 is lighter than the one used on the Tesoro Neo X 3 and also gives you the option to run a second battery to extend your range. This bike is perfect for Riders who want to be able to ride all kinds of roads, lanes and tracks. This isn’t a full on mountain bike but it is capable of getting you well off the beaten track with the help of a powerful Bosch motor.
