SuperX features out front steering, slack head angle, long 55mm fork offset, this combo accomplishes increased stability of descents as well as effectively manoeuvrability on technical sections. Offset geometry maintains the quick and snappy feel to maintain the line through corners and rapidly correct. The age old choice between a short chain stay for traction and agility or the long chainstay for increased tyre and extra mud clearance has always been a difficult choice. Cannondale’s Ai (Asymmetric Integration) has allowed them to shift the drivetrain 6 mm to the right to accomplish short chain stay for traction and agility in addition to tyre and mud clearance finally putting that difficult choice to bed. This means if you’re racing you pit less than the competition or you can run 40c or larger tyre for increased comfort and capability when gravel riding. Super X is built with Ballistic carbon in the frame and fork and is lighter and stiffer than most elite road racing frame sets.
