The Designer Founded in 1957 in Toronto Canada by Maurice Bradden the D’Orlan jewellery company was established and are best known for producing costume jewellery and ornaments for Boucher. Bradden has previously trained under Marcel Boucher gaining extensive knowledge of jewellery design and production. D’Orlan jewellery company used high quality imitation gemstones plus Austrian crystals and rhinestones and became well known for their quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. The also produced several products that replicated Marcel Boucher designs under its own brand name. In 1979 D’Orlan became owners of the Boucher brand and were a successful global brand. They partnered with Nina Ricci in 1984 and continued to trade until 2006.
