Description
The SSH-6 Stereo Shotgun Microphone Capsule from Zoom is specially designed to work with Zoom H6 and H5 audio recorders, Zoom F8n/F8/F4 MultiTrack Field Recorder, Zoom Q8 Handy Video Recorder, and U-44 Handy Audio Interface. The SSH-6 uses a super-directional mic to pick up sound on the centre and a bidirectional side mic to pick up sound from the right or the left to record a fully mono-compatible stereo image for television, video, and film projects. For instance, it allows you to record a conversation or narration with the centre mic and then mix in the required amount of environmental sound captured by the side microphone in post production. This unit is supplied with a professional-grade hairy windscreen, which you can use to prevent strong winds from hitting your Zoom SSH-6 Capsule and causing unwanted noise.
