Between the rigour of the lozenge and the curves of an oval, this all-over hand painted design evokes a masculine wardrobe of many styles of, suits, ties and scarves. Watercolours, used in the drawing and associated with cotton sateen, give a velvet-like aspect to the shapes, a depth to the colours, resembling the light nature and richness of silks and velvets. The co-ordinating design is a classic of micro drawing, a detail of ribbon underscored with a straight stitch as in the hand stitching of male attire. A range of colours Dandy Chic , features white material contrasting with anthracite, bronze and a grey-violet, giving an overall elegant yet whimsical tone. The linens are of printed cotton sateen 300 thread count and have double bias finishing.
