WTB Vigilante TCS High OEM Tyre (TriTec)Engineered through real testing during the Enduro World Series, this mountain bike (MTB) tyre features WTB's TCS Tough/High Grip construction that combines ultra-grippy rubber with two full layers of casing. As a result, no area is left unprotected and riders can enjoy smooth and dependable rolling performance on the most demanding of terrain conditions. This model is also equipped with square-lugged knobs that provide excellent traction, while their increased height ensures they dig in even deeper into loose, unpredictable terrain. Perfect for the more aggressive of rides, its updated siping and larger knobs keep you in control during cornering and fast braking. Its increased circumferential spacing also allows the tread to remain clear in sloppy conditions, while still keeping the casing protected from rocks. Trail-Ready MTB Tyre with TriTec CompoundAll Vigilante 2.6/2.8" tyres feature TriTec Compound, which utilises three rubber compounds to provide different levels of traction, support and durability based on their placement within the tread. The entire tread pattern is supported by a base of high durometer rubber, which also transitions halfway into the height of the knobs and allows for the use of softer knob compounds without the tyre folding due to cornering forces. The top it off, the centre knobs consist of a medium durometer compound to provide traction and durability without sacrificing rolling efficiency, while the outer knobs feature the softest compound to deliver maximum grip and slow rebound.
