Description
The V&A Alyssum range features an elegant print of stylised flowers, inspired by a textile design by British pattern designer Lindsay Phillip Butterfield (1869–1948). The graceful, curving lines reflect the influence of Art Nouveau, a style that was increasingly popular in the early 20th century. Coloured in a palette of turquoise blue and green tones, the main design reverses to a simple spot print.
