Description
The V&A Alyssum range features an elegant print of stylised flowers inspired by a textile design by British pattern designer Lindsay Phillip Butterfield (1869–1948). The graceful curving lines reflect the influence of Art Nouveau a style that was increasingly popular in the early 20th century. Coloured in a palette of turquoise blue and green tones the main design reverses to a simple spot print. A quilted throw is perfect for layering up on cooler nights and the bed is accessorised with a cotton canvas cushion featuring an embroidered daisy motif and finished with a piped edging.
