A colourful depiction of 'Ryogoku Bridge in the Eastern Capital', with Mount Fuji in the background, by Japanese artist Utagawa Kunisada. This reproduction is printed in the UK on 250gsm matt smooth fine art paper with a solid ash frame, hand-stained in black. It's glazed with a window mount and ready to wall-mount with fittings at the back of the frame. Utagawa Hiroshige I (1797-1858) was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist, considered the ultimate great master of the wood-block print tradition. His work conveys a deep sense of the human experience as well as using a poetic sense of the weather and landscape - mist, snow and rain.
