A coastal scene by artist Claire Henley. This canvas wrap print is housed in a deep wood-effect frame creating an elegant shadow gap around the picture. A freelance illustrator and designer for over 20 years, Claire Henley studied for a degree in Graphic Design in London before starting her first job in a textile design studio. Once freelance, she began designing and illustrating anything from toys and greetings cards to books and giftware for clients worldwide. Henley also writes as well as illustrates children's books and enjoys visiting schools and libraries to talk about the bookmaking process. In recent years, she has concentrated more on fine art rather than illustration, finding inspiration in the coast and the countryside of Britain and, despite living in the middle of the country, heads to the coast as often as possible.
