Tom Reeves was born in 1967 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and lives in Riverside, California with his wife, three children and their two dogs. Before devoting his life to art, Tom knew he wanted to be an artist. His parents wanted him to be a lawyer but he says the doodling on his term papers was more impressive than the words in the papers. After Tom moved to California, he worked as a commercial and residential painter and later created murals and paintings on canvas. Reeves says that the people and personalities of California influence some of his abstract works.
