Description
Christmas cards reproducing the superlative detail of paintings by Charles Frederick Tunnicliffe (1901–79). An acclaimed painter of wildlife and a Royal Academician, Tunnicliffe is often more popularly known for his illustrations for ‘Tarka the Otter’ and the ‘Ladybird’ books in the 1950s and ’60s, which brought his naturalistic wildlife art to a generation of children.
