Description
Cardigan recalling an embroidered jacket now held in the V and A museum from the early 1600s, decorated with floral motifs and encircled with scrolling lines. Botanical pictures were a popular source of design inspiration at the time however the stylised red and white roses were the central symbol of the Tudor dynasty (14851603). Fitted style with button fastening.
