Background Resistant to an incredible depth of 3,900m, the Deepsea is designed for professional divers. First released in 2008, the watch is built for extreme environments, boasting hardy construction and exceptional Rolex engineering, including a helium escape valve to ensure the watchÂ’s reliability and performance when under pressure. The case architecture that enables the Rolex Deepsea to resist the colossal pressure exerted by water at great depths takes advantage of two surprising features. First of all, the very strong titanium case back is almost imperceptibly flexible thanks to the natural qualities of the alloy, making it extremely resilient to such huge forces. Secondly, the water pressure itself forces the three core components of the Ringlock System, including the case back, tighter and tighter together as the depth increases, naturally reinforcing the hermetic seal of the case. TBlack Customisation Deepsea Night Fury is a customisation of a Rolex Deep Sea (Ref 116660). Limited to 25 pieces, the Deepsea Night Fury has a black dial with satin steel detailing and coated in TBlackÂ’s iconic MAB-II finish. The watch has an automatic movement with date function, a rotatable black marker bezel, durable Sapphire Crystal glass and water resistant to 3,900m / 12,800ft.
