Background The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona is one of the most iconic and desired watches in the world. Introduced in 1963 and named after the Daytona International Speedway in Florida, the Chronograph was designed to meet the demands of professional racing drivers. Worn by race and watch luminaries as Paul Newman and Sir Malcolm Campbell, the Daytona watch is highly collectable, self-winding chronograph and equipped with a tachometric scale for measuring speed and precise timing to one eighth of a second. TBlack Customisation Daytona Black Concept is a customisation of Rolex Cosmograph Daytona (ref 116520). Daytona Black Concept is available in only 20 editions. The Daytona Black Concept is designed with a charcoal dial, black sub-dials and luminous stealth grey markers. The model has an automatic chronograph movement, the bezel is polished and the watch is finished in TBlackÂ’s signature Diamond-Like Carbon Coating (DLC).
