Background Datejust II Nero boasts the modern archetype of RolexÂ’s classic watch, transcending changes in fashion. Aesthetically, the Datejust I has spanned eras with its 36mm decedents of the original, and the Datejust II was first introduced in 2009 in an updated size of 41mm. Influenced by the pioneering Datejust, the date on the Datejust II is displayed in a window at 3 oÂ’clock and changes instantaneously at midnight in a few thousandths of a second. The Cyclops lens on the crystal, invented by Rolex in 1953, magnifies the date for easy reading. TBlack Customisation Datejust II Nero is a customisation of Rolex Datejust II (ref 116334) Datejust II Nero is part of TBlackÂ’s collection pieces, available in a limited run of 50 pieces. The Nero watch is designed with a dark grey dial and black Roman numeral markers. The model has a date function, the bezel is fluted and the watch is finished in TBlackÂ’s signature Diamond-Like Carbon Coating (DLC).
