The parasol has a classic hexagonal shape and features a wind-up crank to seamlessly raise and lower the canopy. As well as preventing the wind from pulling it upwards, a vent helps to improve heat circulation so that parasol is more comfortable to sit beneath. The parasol pole is made from heavy-duty steel for the utmost sturdiness whilst the panels are made from water-resistant polyester. Steel vs Aluminium Parasol Unlike other garden parasols in the Christow collection, the pole of the parasol is made from steel as opposed to aluminium. Though heavier than aluminium, steel is more hardwearing. It’s less likely to warp, dent and scratch than aluminium, making it a better option for regular use.
